Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are writing to you this evening to let you know that Ocean View Elementary will be gaining an additional classroom.  This is great news because it will reduce the number of students in each class.  This new class will be a P/1 combined and our goal is to have this up and running by the beginning of October.

Obviously, adding an additional classroom will mean that some of our P-2 students will be reassigned.  This week our staff will be working on the composition of this class with the focus on thoughtfully placing students where they will be most successful.  We do know that this may cause some disruption to routine, but ultimately it will be a benefit for all students to have a smaller class size.  If your child will be reassigned to a new class, you will be notified.
