Our annual Field Day at Ocean View is scheduled for the morning of Tuesday, June 18th.  We are hoping the weather will cooperate and bring us lots of sunshine. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be held on Thursday, June 20th

The day will be filled with games, and students will receive a hot dog and a snack at lunch. Students will be outdoors for most of the morning and should wear sunscreen and a hat to protect themselves from the sun. Also, students may get wet during some of the games. It is a good idea to send a change of clothes to keep dry after the event. Students may wish to bring their own water bottle and are responsible for carrying it around with them.

It is important that students dress appropriately for our field day. All students need to wear sneakers in order to participate in the games. It is not safe for students to be running and playing games in crocs, sandals, and flip flops.

The students will participate in each of the activities with their own class. Each class will be given a team name and colour for team spirit. Students are encouraged to wear their class color.
